Bobcats Soccer Club Overview
The purpose of Bobcat Soccer Club, Inc. is to promote the playing and appreciation of soccer by residents of the City of Grandview Heights and the Village of Marble Cliff. The BSC is a non-profit organization of parents and soccer fans seeking to provide playing opportunities and facilitate skill development for students and adults. The Bobcat Soccer Club was established in 1994 to provide Grandview Middle School boys a team on which to play competitive soccer after the Kiwanis league. The club supported Middle School and High School teams until those athletes became the first recognized GHHS Boys Varsity Soccer Team in the fall of 1998 with a 14 - 4 – 1 season record. The BSC continued to run the Boys Middle School soccer program until it became a school sport in 2007. BSC then provided ongoing support for the school teams, youth and adult soccer in Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff. The club works closely with Grandview high school boys’ soccer coaching staff to encourage continuity in training approaches and philosophy for player preparation from grade school to high school.
